Tips:

It is always recommended to use alternate accounts (accs)(alts), while NPC hunting, as a preventative of having your main account banned from an NPC. For every NPC hunt you should always have your music and head turning off. (This doesn't mean the actual Roblox sound, the "Music" setting in the game, the wrench icon on the far right of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. You can also open settings on a PC/laptop by pressing the L key. (The option to turn off head turning is right underneath the option to turn on/off music.)

Audio Cues:

You should always hear birds during the day and wind no matter the time (EXCEPT during rain and at new Moonstone) potentially twig snaps and panting too, but unsure. Meows also appear to have been added to normal audio.

If you do not hear birds, you should check your volume and hide as more often than not, it means a dangerous NPC is nearby.

There are some audio cues that take form of words, but you should take caution to not confuse them with twoleg noises.

"Stop": You are being hunted by an NPC. Stop moving and do not chat. Close your character eyes and do pinned/timid ears until you hear "Stop" again, or wait 10-20 seconds.

"Stop, HIDE": Everyone in the server needs to find a place to hide, and fast.

"Zero": This is targeted to the person who hears it, unless the entire server is in a group close together. Hearing "Zero" means that there are either no NPCs nearby the player(s), or there are a lot of NPCs nearby.

Birds not chirping during the day: in real life, birds stop chirping when they sense a predator is nearby, when birds stop chirping in game, it likely means there is a dangerous NPC nearby.

Woodpeckers

Meows ( usually distant unless in a clan camp, will typically never sound distressed )

Twigs ( repetitive patterns in the audio loop, at one point 5 in a row, another 3, usually 2 - be careful to confirm questions that use them)

Panting/barking ( will usually be distant, otherwise may be Blood or another npc )

Trains/cars ( might be unconfirmed, but common around KP )

Morphs:

Black and/or camouflage morphs that blend in with your surroundings are the safest from NPCs and give you a lower chance of being caught. If you ever have a dangerous NPC in the server, it's a good idea to attempt to load a morph with at least some black/dark coloring in it to increase how safe you are. Another option is leaving the server. If you are hiding from an NPC, use closed eyes and pinned or timid ears to make you safer from being caught.
