Because if you notice, few characters in the horror version are alive (Most of the characters have died or become corrupted, and Gray is one of the few surviving characters) Is Gray trying to hide or find somewhere safe? But he can't... I don't know! I just know it's really weird to think about it, (A curious detail is that even in the normal version, Gray doesn't seem to be doing very well... He's one of the few characters who isn't smiling, which makes me a little suspicious...
