Brud is one of the 5 people taken out who have the "heart of blue" curse, if you're wondering what this is then I'll tell you right now. It's a situation where if you die, your heart and brain regenerate with blue light, basically zombifying them. Here's the catch about it, you can't move, you can't talk, and you suffer endless pain depending on how gruesome the death was. Also, the curse might have been given to the people who were killers in the dance with lies au so oopsies(dw tunner is fine). Anyway, as you can tell by the blue string, he most likely fell into one of rottened's traps, causing him to turn into bait for sky.
