I'm sure most of you remember Ronald—that Piggy-inspired game on Roblox that had its fifteen minutes of fame. You know the one: you're dropped into a map, someone gets randomly picked to be the killer clown, and then you just… run into people until they fall over. Rinse, repeat. It was chaotic, it was clunky, and somehow, that was part of its charm.
Well, I’m making something different. It’s called Ronald: REDUX—and I need to get something off my chest.
I’m honestly kind of nervous about how it’s going to be received. Not because the game is bad—far from it. It’s because the original Ronald set such a low bar in terms of gameplay expectations, and now I’m trying to raise that bar. Significantly.
Here’s the thing: in the original Ronald, the core loop basically revolved around bumping into people’s avatars until they dropped. That was it. Movement was everything, strategy was almost nonexistent, and depth… well, there wasn’t any. It was a glorified game of tag with a horror skin slapped on top.
Ronald: REDUX is not that.
We’re adding mechanics—real mechanics. Think cooldowns, abilities, decision-making. You actually have to do something to win. For example, killers in this game don’t just chase people around until they clip into them. You’re using attacks—like a basic M1 (melee attack)—which means you have to time things, aim, and strategize. Survivors can actually counterplay. There's depth, skill expression, and gameplay flow beyond just "run in a circle until someone messes up."
And that’s where the fear kicks in.
Because if someone sees the word “Ronald” and clicks on the game expecting the same old mess, they’re going to be blindsided. This is not a low-effort nostalgia hit. It’s a complete overhaul. But when you take something that was defined by its simplicity, and you try to reimagine it with structure, complexity, and actual gameplay design… some people will push back.
I'm scared—not for the quality of the game, but for the reaction. I'm scared of the expectations people will bring in, and the backlash that might come just because it's not "run-into-player-and-win" anymore. People say they want better, but when you give them better, they often just want the same.
So yeah, I’m anxious. But I’m also proud. Because this isn't just Ronald with a fresh coat of paint. It's Ronald rebuilt into something that actually respects the player’s time and skill. And I hope, once people get over the initial shock, they’ll see that too.
Yeah, the gameplay’s going to be way more advanced, especially for the killer side, but trust me—we’re putting a lot more focus on survivor gameplay too. This isn’t going to be one of those games where survivors are just background noise running in circles. There’s going to be actual depth to what survivors can do—teamwork, tools, objectives, and decisions that actually matter.
And yes, for those who care about style (which I know is most of you), there will be a ton of survivor skins. We’re going all in on customization—different looks, maybe even some unique cosmetics or animations down the line. Survivors aren’t just gameplay pawns here—they’re part of the experience, and we want them to feel like it.
So yeah, if you’re coming in hoping to just mash keys and run around for a few minutes, Ronald: REDUX might surprise you—but hopefully in a good way.
No, an infinite number of universes does not necessarily mean infinite possibilities. While an infinite number of universes could contain a vast array of variations, it doesn't guarantee that every possible outcome exists. There could be constraints or limitations within the multiverse, even in the context of an infinite number of universes.

my brother ate one now he has constant breathing problems and consistent heart attacks
Expected result, they are leeches. Normally they latch onto the head to absorb the memories the fastest, but they can really attach anywhere.
One side effect is minor to major memory loss. Because it's eating the memories. I'd know, I've had mine for years.
